The intervention involves the construction of a Microsoft-owned data center by the General Contractor Mercury Italia srl, which has enlisted Zumaglini & Gallina for the implementation of civil works.
They are part of the contract: reinforced concrete structural works for the construction of building Datacenter an area of approximately 10,000 square meters; the external reinforced concrete slabs and pavements totaling 9,000 square meters intended for housing the equipments installations; the implementation of all internal and external utility networks to the Datacenter; the surface finishes of external arrangements such as roads and landscaping.
The experience gained in the international context with operators mainly from Northern Europe, applying typically Anglo-Saxon construction management procedures, has allowed our workforce and management to develop specific skills in performing the role of international subcontractor.
Starting from the executive project drafted by Jacobs Italia spa, the works have been modeled in BIM360 and constructively designed by Zumaglini & Gallina in collaboration with engineering companies based in Turin.
